Our highest tier. These contractors meet all verification criteria plus are certified for instant rebates.

Our Verification Process
CSLB License Check
We verify each contractor's license number directly with the California State License Board. We confirm the license is active, properly classified for HVAC work (C-20 or C-38), and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints.
Insurance & Bonding
We confirm that contractors maintain the required workers' compensation insurance and contractor bonds as mandated by California law.
Rebate Certification
For Elite status, we verify enrollment in the TECH Clean California program and confirm the contractor can process point-of-sale rebates for qualifying heat pump installations.
Ongoing Monitoring
Verification isn't a one-time event. We periodically re-check licenses and certifications to ensure continued compliance. If a contractor's status changes, we update their listing accordingly.
